Perspectives on Walking

Public Workshop November 7 & 8, 2009
Free Intro evening November 6, 2009

The Path To Mastery with Jeff Haller

Moving smoothly from one foot to another without placing stress on our body is an art form. Learning or rediscovering how to walk with elegance, lightness and ease takes study. Utilizing our skeleton and musculature efficiently means we learn to move from “good enough” to get around to gaining real expertise with our own ability to support our self moving through space. Most of us have been injured and maintain habits of movement and compensation that work against us. We want to live and move with the support that makes walking a joyful activity.

In this public workshop Jeff Haller will lead you in explorations using Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement® lessons and live demonstrations to help make walking an art and a pleasure for you. No prior experience necessary. Two-day workshop, total fee $195 per person.
